One thousand bottles of beer on the wall

Ever actually seen that? Well i have...in fact i was the one who put them up on the wall. If you havent guessed it, I now work as a clerk at a liquor store. And despite what people think i didn't just do it for the discount. Albeit a discount would be an added perk, i find it rather annoying that the first thing that some people ask me is how much of a discount i get.

Actually the store i work at hasn't even opened yet, we've been spending the last 2 weeks setting up the store for the grand opening on september 2nd...just in time for the long weekend! Woo! (note: not actual enthusiasm). I can hardly wait, i mean i've had a mere 2 hours of training on till and then i get to do an entire 8 hour shift on one of the busiest days this store will ever have.

Although this day horrifies me to no end the weeks preceeding it have been rather pleasent, i get along with all my coworkers and the manager likes me too. But i have learned a very valuable lesson...a 36$ bottle of scotch has the ability to stink up the entire store to the point that it can make you gag trying to breath. Honestly i look forward to working here, it seems like it could be...fun?
